Jennifer Green Common Sense Media The sequel's candlelit holiday ambiance is warm, and the elves are funnier this time around. Rated: 3/5 Nov 15, 2022 Full Review John Serba Decider The screenplay doesn’t commit much effort to defining his character – or its dramatic arcs, thematic fodder or comedic overtures, for that matter. It plods along from one plot point to the next, not stirring up much interest. Nov 11, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

matthias s "The Claus Family 2" jingles in with promise but lands a bit off-key. While the soundtrack twinkles like holiday lights and the character development marks an improvement, the film takes a bizarre detour away from the merry Christmas theme, leaving me feeling more puzzled than festive. The absence of that magical Yuletide charm is a letdown, stealing the jolly vibe. Though the main characters shine brighter this time, Santa's design and lackluster effects; reduced to a red raincoat; dull the enchantment. Jan Decleir's presence adds a glimmer of excellence, but it's not enough to salvage the sinking sleigh. The narrative's focus on divorce rather than rescuing Christmas dilutes the seasonal spirit, leaving me colder than a North Pole blizzard. Furthermore, the limited sets and mall-bound locales weigh down the potential for a captivating visual spectacle. With scant scenes featuring Santa and a diluted holiday essence, "The Claus Family 2" ends up as a middling film and a disheartening miss for a Christmas flick, squandering its promising premise amidst misused potential. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/10/23 Full Review Katerina M Decorations are cute and the movie is made with bright but soft and cozy lights and colors. Good things end here. From the beginning something felt off and I quickly got bored with it. The cherry on a top were "woke" moments which I did not enjoy at all. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/09/23 Full Review John B I thought this was a good sequel overall as the story continues with Jules taking over the Santa Claus duties from his grandfather while helping many wishes of unanswered letters pertaining to love. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/31/22 Full Review Thor B Very awesome, you should see this movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/10/22 Full Review Read all reviews
