In a Texas border town, theft and assault abound. After the heist of a gold shipment traveling by rail, two federal agents are sent to resolve the town's spate of crimes. Incognito, the two operatives, Peter (Anthony Clark) and George (Michael Martin), investigate a local landowner, O'Brien (Peter White), who seems to be the man behind the violent misdeeds. Peter obtains a job on his ranch, while George gets closer to his daughter, Lupe (Lucy Gilly), and both try to get to the truth.
