Insurance salesman Michael is on his daily commute home, which quickly becomes anything but routine. After being contacted by a mysterious stranger, Michael is forced to uncover the identity of a hidden passenger on the train before the last stop. As he works against the clock to solve the puzzle, he realizes a deadly plan is unfolding, and he is unwittingly caught up in a criminal conspiracy that carries life and death stakes for everyone on the train.

The concept is kind of interesting and could probably work if this went slower but the pacing isn't good at all. This goes way too fast after setting up the inital plot and basic character. It's more concerned that you'll get bored so it just keeps throwing fights and crazy twists at you to compensate. This needed to be a slow burn in it's setup setting up the characters involved better like the 74' Taking of Pelham 123 or even Bullet Train. The plot here is the other biggest issue. Again it's not that it doesn't make sense at it's most basic cncept but the twists and turns just are so farfetched, ridiculous, and are so poorly explained/setup it's just a major strike to getting invested into things. The music is forgettable also. The acting is just alright. Nesson is alright but he just isn't that interesting a character to carry this thing alone. He's literally the Dad from Taken and the family is forgotten about after the opening. All the passengers involved are forgettable too and have no character to set them apart. Everything else is subpar. The CGI train crash is the worst scene. It looks terrible and your telling me everyone survived that ok...Come on. The setting itself is kind of memorable and the direction isn't bad actually. But again it's too fast, too crazy and the characters are so forgettable all around. Skip This. It's not the worst thing ever but there are way better Train Thrillers.

A film in which the story may not be the best thing, as well as its use of CGI. However, actors like Liam Nesson make the film more than entertaining in the mystery with good action scenes and camera handling, ideal for a casual audience that does not demand much. In summary: Passable. 🚃 3 Stars ⭐⭐⭐ for Entertaining....
