Thom Ernst Original Cin The concept is rich but this virus thriller lacks savvy execution... and thrills. Oct 15, 2020 Full Review Kyle Bain Film Threat The Complex: Lockdown intrigues viewers in the most intense fashion, but keeps them level-headed with an attractive cast and moments of humor. Ryan S Unbearably dull, stupid, and uninterested protagonist. She makes consistently moronic choices throughout and even resists when the other characters try to do the right thing. The interactions between characters often make no sense, the ticking clock aspect of the film is completely ignored, it's just nonsense with no feeling of stakes. Clare was the only believably written or acted character. She is the reason i'm giving a 1 vs a 0.5. Oh and at the end it all turns out to be an ad for a videogame so… yea. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/06/23 Full Review Audience Member The Complex: Lockdown feels like it was written by a 15 year old, directed by his 13 year old brother, and acted by all of the neighborhood kids. Rubbish movies like these make me seriously question keeping my Hulu account. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review clay w Everything about it screams low-budget. The casting, dialogue and acting is thoroughly unconvincing, often silly. The lead character looks and sounds like she was recruiting from Disney kids show. I bailed on it after 45-minutes not wanting to waste any more minutes of my life. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review alex h This movie is spectacular, I got the glitches ending, and am very happy I didn't get "The promise", as promise ending would have just been a happy end, whereas glitches legit leaves you thinking about the thriller even more. I never re-do the games of such sort, as each action actually matters, and on the second run the entire movie just seems boring and predictable. It is perhaps one of the best story-matter games ever made. I believe so because I got the best ending, as well as that, actors are amazing, I want to see more games like this one. The suspense feeling can be felt throughout the entire movie, as well as the actors are good and for 3$ in my country, this are the best 1.5 hours ever, although if you are not like me, you can also replay and make it into 8 different movies.
