Matt Zoller Seitz RogerEbert.com The kind of movie that seems to think a heap of outrageous details equals a characterization. May 16, 2018 Full Review Brian Orndorf Blu-ray.com Means to be edgy and cheeky, yet it's always struggling for oxygen, with Oakley stuck trying to create something appealing when every person onscreen deserves to be pushed into the nearest river. siobhan m This film is so amazing funny great story line I love uma's British accent in it her name in it is beautiful Harriet it's a sexy movie to very sexy especially where Uma is involved Peter is hilarious in it every scene you see him with a drink it's to funny Sidney is funny to when he says to to Peter and my own boy and omg av put videos on it on Facebook commented about it everywhere it's amazing anyone that says this is boring need Tae spice things up and get a life of more laughter in them Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/05/24 Full Review Derek M This is a terrible film with an excellent cast. Despite their efforts they can’t make up for the terrible plot, puerile dialogue and lacklustre production. The worst thing about this film is that there will be dozens of better ones that didn’t get made because money was actually spent on this drivel. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/04/24 Full Review John B Wow this was just terrible to watch. The overall concept of a jewel heist was ok, but none of the characters are likable, especially Roth who is constantly drinking in every shot like a ranging alcoholic, while Thurman and the other characters just seem to get lost in one bad scene after another Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 07/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Film che vuole essere divertente ed irriverente e che invece riesce solamente ad essere bizzarro e fastidioso. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Uma Thurman was a 5, but the film was so boring and non-sense i had to give 1.5, because even though there are great actors in it, i cound't finish and never laughed. The film is a "Comedy", but is it really? ... I think is not. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member This flick "The Brits are coming" (also called "The Con is on") should in fact be called "The Brits are lame"!! With such an outstanding cast it's never boring enough to actually switch it off, but calling this a comedy is like calling Sylvester Stallone an actor. There are a few moments when your lips might split to a slight grin, but that's about it. A script like this would have become a comic eternal jewel in the hands of greats like Landis or Zucker, but this director turned this movie into something that one wants to forget in an instant as it expresses absolutely nothing! 2 1/2 of 10 points Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Read all reviews
