Audience Member Full of plot holes. The only entertainment is the rare jokes, mostly involving Nick Cheung's character. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member When Wong Jing was getting serious. Neat but unfortunately dull until the last 20 minutes. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member A slick gambling adventure. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Wong Jing usual gambling film. The second one is much better. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member "The Conman" marks a successful return to the charm and machismo that made early '90s Hong Kong gambling flicks so fun to watch. Andy Lau is in his element as an aging confidence man, though the film suffers from a poorly plotted final act and the presence of Nick Cheung, who at this point in his career had not yet perfected his acting skills.
