Some confronting and gory scenes, if you are into violent and gory revenge films, you should enjoy this. See more 10/11/2020 No way! First off, I’m 99% sure this is a lifetime movie. See more 09/02/2020 Though there are some horrific situations, The Dark Red is more of a psychological drama than a Psychological thriller or horror. That said, it is a very intriguing film. I love how the story was framed in its narrative, and how the filmmakers withheld the right balance of information that makes the viewer question whether we are seeing mental illness at play or if what is being presented is factual.
