I was trying to figure out what drew me to watch it a second time, I think it is purely for the fun of how cheesy it is, but I also liked all of the people in it, which is important to me. It had budget sets and and parts of the storyline are still unfathomable to me, but something about the raw beauty of reaching out and touching another civilization that is more mature and noble than ours has made me watch this movie over and over.
