Geoffrey J 09/20/2024 Great acting by a stellar cast. A lot of the humour surprisingly modern, of course some of it is dated, it was made in 1942! I found it a thoroughly engaging watch. See more 01/16/2011 Excellent and entertaining war time film, dont quite know how it merits on a site like this?, created by people whom could never grasp the concept of occupation. See more 06/19/2010 Deborah Kerr does her best Sonya Henie impression in an okay WWII film. See more 04/27/2009 well umn just seen this movie 4 the 1st time n think that this is a good movie 2 watch..its got a good cast of actors/actressess throughout this movie..i think that hugh williams, griffith jones, deborah kerr, ralph richardson, francis l sullivan, roland culver play good roles/parts throughout this movie its a good 1940's movie 2 watch with a good cast throughout this movie...i think that this is a good black n white movie 2 watch with a good cast throughout this movie...its a good war movie 2 watch See more 02/20/2009 More wartime propaganda and pretty decent it is too - crammed to the gills with British character actor talent. Credibility straining and stocked with cliched roles and scenarios - as entertainment it still delivers! See more 08/06/2008 Not as bad as I thought it would be, I always get put off movies that are based around the war. This movie is quite a good watch See more Read all reviews
