The movie is only 80 minutes and somehow after all that time I have no clue what this movie was about. You have 80 minutes, not much but enough to get your point across and this movies is the equivalent of word salad. A whole lot of nothing with such little exposition I couldn't tell you why they were even there in the first place as the characters are not well thought out nor drawn. Very horrible waste of time. The acting is fine but when you have zero to work with you won't get much done.

the movie just wasn't good, some scenes were so poorly edited and the whole movies plot just sucked, also the fact they never showed the veiwers the body in the basement proves the person who made it just couldnt think of anything 'scary' and just kept veiwers expectant for something that will never be showed for the rest of the movie, and that annoyed me.

No cheesy backstory about the characters or inane banter while driving to the location…just right to the house. Creepy, slow burn. Kind of bummed that there was really no exposition about the entity, but overall quite enjoyable.

Three researchers of paranormal activity spend a few days in a remote house that is said to be haunted in order to try and procure evidence. This concept has been done to death..no pun intended..however this one doesn't rely on cheap jump scares. This one builds on the characters and emits a genuinely creepy atmosphere which resonates throughout. Much better than I expected.

The Dead Room: This is an hour and 20 minutes of three individuals torturing us with ridiculously bad acting in a very basic set we can only presume is a haunted house (there is zero set up and zero premise) with rattling chandeliers, moving furniture and breaking glass - effects so bad I swear I could almost see the strings moving them. A maddeningly poor excuse for a film. F

Gets pretty low ratings on RT, but I found it to be pretty creepy. For all of you who like haunted horror with no gore, I recommend this one. It is on Netflix streaming.
