Don't let the low audience score put you off giving this a try if, like me, you enjoy all things thalassophobic. The Deep House is a surprisingly effective low-budget horror film with an extremely unique premise. Really, how many underwater haunted house movies can you name? The acting is serviceable and the plot is basic, getting the characters to where they need to be. The experience of delving into the Deep House is the point, and here the execution is very good.
