There is violence in The Demolisher, but the focus is more on its lingering effects than on its gratuitous display. Instead, the film's most affecting and powerful moments are those more concerned with the pain that comes in the silences after.

The Demolisher was a visually striking film. I found that there were way too many fade out transitions however, like every 6-7 minutes I felt, it was just too much and didn't look nice. I did enjoy the cinematography and the synth music, which gave it that Carpenter-esque feel.
