William S Nothing beats horror out of different traditions than our own. The culture stuff fascinates as the horror nicely builds. First-rate performances. Truly spooky soundtrack. Excellent. Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/24 Full Review Annie A The movie had the potential to be great if I spoke the language. I tried turning on the subtitles but it doesn't translate when characters are speaking foreign language. It just let's you know which character is speaking foreign. The Domestic is supposedly the daughter of the former housekeeper who supposedly died of a heart attack. However, you find out that the Domestic is not who she say she is and the actual Blessing (characters name) was found dead alongside her mother. So that left me wondering who was the imposter and why was she there. Perhaps that was explained in the midst of the back and forth conversations that were spoken in a foreign language. So unfortunately, I don't know why she came there and who exactly was her target. Kat (the wife) didn't embrace her own special abilities in the beginning and in fact, was taking mental health drugs to "fix it". By the end, alongside her mother, she put it all to use. I gave this movie 3 1/2 stars because although it was somewhat confusing due to language barrier, it was interesting enough to keep me watching it to the end. Rated 3.5/5 Stars •  Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/11/23 Full Review two bro s This movie is so scattered and all over the place, 40% of it was not in English do you are lost in translation.. it's dark and gloomy and there are so many plot twists and gaping holes that you honestly don't know if you're going or coming.. the first 20 minutes suck you in under the guise of being an okay B-list movie only to warble and discombobulate you with nonsensical Tom Foolery.
