Audience Member Doctors are generally intelligent, even general practitioners. Every doctor in this movie acted like a goof. The childish antics were neither clever or funny. What a waste of time and money. If you enjoy John Callahan's humor, without any of the raunchiness, you might like this. It's off-beat, non-offensive, sometimes (mostly?) outright stupid. To each their own, I suppose; it wasn't for me. Right from the opening 2 minutes, the main protagonist is brushing his teeth, and driving to work (I guess they were trying to pad the run-time, because none of this was interesting, and it all annoying). Then he gets to work and acts like a chilidish slacker. By this point, I wanted to gouge my eyes out, so that I would never have to endure another movie like this again. It gets worse though, it's followed up by unbelievable dialogue, very basic human interactions, and an abundance of crappy acting. The director has no artistic integrity, and hardly let any scenes breathe; it was as though it was directed by an ADHD college drop-out, who never read a book. Everything was just poorly put together. For something based on a real story, the real story of a day in the life of a teenage McDonald's worker would be more interesting. Not only that, but everything in this movie would fit perfectly with that story. Not only that, but the entire movie is also plagued with unconvincing ADR (Dialogue added off-screen, into clunky poorly acted scenes, where it was obvious no other actor was present), The worst part about the ADR, is its obviousness; there's no environmental acoustics, and it sounds like someone narrating, rather than speaking directly to the character in the scene. The post-production team did this movie no favors. In my opinion, the funniest part in the movie, was the kid in the sunglasses. It was supposed to be sad, but it was so bad it was funny.
