      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

The Emperor's New Clothes offers trenchant, timely insight on the current socioeconomic climate that is only partly undermined by star Russell Brand's self-aggrandizing on-screen persona.

Audience Member Loved The Soundtrack, Cleverly Mixed With A Bit Of Underworld Pumped In To Really Get You Thinking About Financial Fraud..In The Fast-Paced Hoodwinking World Of Lies For The Masses. Russell Raises A Great Deal Of Key Questions That Are Pertinent To How Joe-Blogs Tax-Payer Has Bailed Out The (Now) Richest People In The World. And We're Now All In This Together..Complicit In The Big Financial System Which Seems Ever Destined To Fail Again. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Passionate expose by Russell Brand on financial inequities between the top 1% and everyone else in the UK (and further afield) over the last 37 years. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member you can see why the whole establishment has it in for russel brand and turned on him with a vengeance. this is a must watch for every household in Britain. I do not believe in some of russel brands views on politics but if you want a very entertaining film on how much the UK and the world are being shafted by the 1% crack on with this beauty. he should win lots of awards for this but won't as he has upset all the rich and powerful people in the world ð??? Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Those who do not dream, will never see their dreams come true.... If you are not ANGRY about what topics are covered in this film, then you are an idiot. Because you are certainly not rich. Rich, greedy, bastards do not check rotten tomatoes. This film covers incredibly important topics. I.E,. that the world NEEDS A REVOLUTION. There is no other way to change it. The system is rigged. Stupid police all over the world work for the rich, even while not being rich themselves. They are slaves to the system and have no idea what they are fighting for. Sadly, we are all stupid little pawns allowing the elite to control, kill, make sick, poison and destroy our lives. Until we learn that there is FAR more of us than them, we will all slowly cook to death in the pot that is the world. If you even give a damn about who presented this information, his accent, character, etc. Then you are just a loser that is distracted from the truth, like so many of the stupid "critics" below. Critics need to get a life. You do NOT matter. I don't care at all what you say. I care about the people and what they think about EVERYTHING. Movies, films, music, products, etc. "Movie Critic: is just another term for unemployed and desperate to be heard. Get a life and criticise something that matters. Some counter-arguments would have been welcome, but some of the statistics are chilling and infuriating. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
