Elena Trapé confirms herself as one of the directors with the most personality, intelligence, and capacity for observation of the new generation. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review
Eulàlia Iglesias Fotogramas 06/02/2023
In a film allergic to idealization and without falling into picturesqueness, Trapé turns a semi-abandoned town in the Pyrenees into the propitious context for the character to rediscover herself. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review
Javier Ocaña El Pais (Spain) 06/02/2023
The mother-child relationships that dominate the film are accompanied by something as vaporous yet as decisive as knowing the exact moment when you no longer want to share your life with someone. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review
Randy Meeks Espinof 06/02/2023
3/5
It isn't perfect nor does it try to be, but it is a wonderful x-ray of an apathetic character who continuously feigns well-being and to whom the burden of everyday life puts her in one vital mood: she's fed up to the max. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Elena Trapé shows that she is capable of commanding a coming-of-age story full of rough edges. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

A disappointingly inert, overly-schematic drama about a woman returning to the village of her childhood following a separation from her husband and daughter. Go to Full Review

JOAN PAU R @JoanPR Oct 11 It might seem that there is little happening in this quiet, subtle, intimate film about a mother's guilt and loneliness after separating from her husband and losing continuous access to her daughter. And yet the film, set in Barcelona (briefly) and the Pyrenees, builds beautifully to a strong emotional conclusion, all made possible by a masterful performance from Laia Costa, here speaking her native Catalan. The film deserves more attention than it has received. See more Read all reviews
