Audience Member When I first heard of this film, I was unbelievably excited. The trailer made it look phenomenal. I spent months wondering when and how I could see it. Disappointment set in when I discovered it was submitted to a film festival only. The excitement returned, however, when I learned it was to be released to the general public. I'm a sucker for Indie films and horror movies alike, but it's rare that I look forward to any Indie Horror. When it was released on Amazon Video, I purchased it and settled into watch. It's a good film with a great concept, but some of the acting really fell flat for me. Cameron Richardson was great and it was such a refreshing experience to see her in a role like this. The real star of the show is Richard Speight Jr, whose acting was phenomenal as I've come to expect over the years. It was, just as with Cameron, a role very different from what I'm used to, but he gave a completely stellar performance that may have anyone on the edge of their seat. Overall, I would definitely watch this film again and I will be recommending it to all Indie Horror fans I know or come across. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Great movie. Very creepy, and not a traditional horror at all. It's smarter than most horror movies we're seeing now. I liked it all the more because it's an indie, and the actors and actresses in it really deliver on a script that has some serious shocks in it, especially the one at the end. I won't spoil it, but it comes out of the blue, thanks to the nice distractions that take your mind in the wrong direction. Richard Speight Jr. was awesome as a PSTD ridden, cynical, burnt out FBI agent. He goes from calm to unhinged so quick, you're left wondering if you just saw what you think you did. And he falls so hard and so fast, that you keep waiting for someone to wake up and end the nightmare for him. Cameron Richardson was fantastic as well. She plays her character and the secrets this woman is keeping masterfully. You're so sympathetic to her, you catch yourself feeling for her, even at the end, when the total truth comes out. What's really fun about this movie, is that you're left wondering who's right. Did Griff see any of the things he thought he saw? You're mind says no, but that lingering doubt that something bigger was controlling him was great. Give this little indie a try. You won't be sorry.
