robert p A horrible movie that has *nothing* to offer! Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This was easily the scariest movie i've watched in my approximately nine-movie horror binge over the last few weeks. i have absolutely no clue how it only has 14% on this godforsaken website because this was a really, REALLY scary movie that had me on the edge of my seat for a full hour. the nearly absent music, absolute horrifying terror the "participants" were experiencing (& actors were SELLING), and methods of splitting scenes the director used all banded together to make a truly horror-struck experience tbh i think to fully experience the horror though you do have to have been on dozens of medications to try and control mental illness, all of which had varying degrees of side effects and efficacy, and understand how absolutely morally bankrupt the pharmaceutical industry is, especially when it comes to mental illness. so i mean. i'm good there. but i guess you might not be. (bonus: the side note at the end that no one from the pharmaceutical company had been prosecuted made me start crying. good work) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member After a good set up and interesting first half this becomes a confusing mess. Some scenes make no sense and then a rushed ending and voice over to try to explain a few things. Actually felt like they ran out of money. Pity because with a more coherent second half there was the makings of a good horror film here. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review william s Not exactly new to the genre but but there are some interesting parts with some sense of dread but as a whole just below average.A 'if there is nothing else worth while on you could do worse"type of movie. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty well acted and a premise involving enough to push through, but in this instance the low low low budget really hampers the ability to frighten. Specifically, volunteers for medical testing who begin to show dangerous behavior and are quickly (and rightfully) separated from the others, though when that happens, the threat level just doesn't seem that precarious. You can't generate more than a low level of danger by looking at some crazies through a remote camera. One scary encounter in the doctor's office stands out, the rest doesn't perform well enough for success. To see people creeping around a medical facility facing a constant nerve-tingling threat of attack, the sequence in "World War Z" shows you how it's done. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member I actually liked this more than I thought I would. My friends and I pick up random suspense/thriller/horror flicks from time to time and most of them are so badly made that it's painful to watch. This one at least kept our attention. Scott Weinberg TheHorrorShow Not much more than "28 Weeks Later in a hospital," but surely that sounds like fun. Aug 26, 2015 Full Review Paul Gallagher The List This feels like Clark re-treading familiar territory without bringing anything fresh or exciting to it. Rated: 2/5 Sep 5, 2012 Full Review Anton Bitel Projected Figures the odd thorny moral dilemma is thrown up along with the contents of the patients' stomachs, but amidst all that running about in the dark, very little real light is cast on the film's putative subject matter. Everything else is strictly by numbers. Aug 31, 2012 Full Review Read all reviews
