Jeff M I'm not exactly sure what possessed me to turn this one - boredom, I suppose. Well, that was my first mistake of the day. As a child of the 80s, I enjoyed THE FACTS OF LIFE series, and I still catch a rerun or two every now and then to this day. But this is rough. I never realized how important a laugh track could be. If you're not a fan of the show, this will feel like a voyage to the bowels of hell. There is one bright spot - Leachman's story line in which she meets up with an old boyfriend. She and Noel Trevarthen share a warm chemistry together. Unfortunately, watching an Oscar winner like Leachman do her thing makes everyone else in the movie feel amateurish if not downright embarrassing. And whoever came up with the plotline of Blair and Jo involved in a jewelry theft should be shot. I'm not sure if die-hard fans of the girls could even tolerate this nonsense. You'll enjoy the sights of Australia, but that's about it. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/24 Full Review Read all reviews
