James Hanton Starburst It is well-meaning entertainment fodder for very young viewers, and to a certain extent that's okay. Rated: 4/10 Aug 3, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Adam B There are two types of viewers who will watch this. First, the viewer who likes the genre of animated fantasy movies. This is not for you. The second, the 37 year old dad with two sick daughters at home trying to find anything with unicorns, because that’s the only thing they like. If you are in the second group, consider me your guide. No unicorns. I watched anxiously as the kids lost focus. Anger in their eyes. “ there must be a unicorn feral children. There must” and we waited. And waited. TIL the rage boiled over and with horror, it occurred to me, that there was no unicorn, and no magical horse creature could save me. Prayers for my recovery Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/25/24 Full Review Christopher C. M Sometimes American distributors piss me off to no end. There was nothing wrong with the original title of "Bayala: A Magical Adventure". It fits it more than Fairy Princess and the Unicorn. Why? Because the unicorn is in the movie for less than a minute and has nothing to do with the plot whatsoever. Second, THERE ARE NO FAIRIES IN THE MOVIE! These are WINGED ELVES! I'm guessing the title change must have happened AFTER the dub was complete, and there was nothing in the budget for re-dub. As they never said the word fairy even once. That said, it is an entertaining movie, if not wholly original. But something doesn't have to be original to be entertaining. The animation is pretty good and the characters are likable. Just don't expect Fairies because the American studio are morons. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
