Moose is a rabid movie fan who's obsessed with his favorite celebrity action hero, Hunter Dunbar. When cheated out of his opportunity to meet Hunter, Moose gets help from a photographer who knows how to find celebrity homes. Sure, I understand why this could be easily dismissed and mocked — But this movie has heart, tension & draws you into a world we seldom hear about. This is Travolta’s best performance for sometime and he gives it an angle that enables the tension to feel more authentic.

*CONTAINS SPOILERS* I first watched the trailer for this and was already, "are you f*kn kidding me?" And it sat in my watchlist. I finally gave in and watched this trainwreck and regret every second I’ll never get back to my life 😳 Did Travolta lose a bet? How did they get him to do this?! Let’s start with his character Moose. Described as an autistic man who’s obsessed with Devon Sawa’s character Hunter (an actor). No character development at all for Travolta. Does he have a job or a case worker? This guy has his own apt and drives a moped yet doesn’t appear to know right from wrong. His behavior quickly escalates to being at Hunters house, the maid catches him yet no further precautions are taken. He hides in his house the whole night and into the next day and nobody has yet to find the dead maid in the yard? Nobody? I never really had hopes for this based on the trailer alone but I’m not one to not finish something I start. No matter how painful it actually is.

This film was what made me lose respect for John Travolta the cruel treatment of John Travolta’s character from Devon Sawa’s celebrity character. Good luck finding better acting quality,Travolta!!!

You know the movie is good when the entire audience thinks it’s terrible because they missed the entire concept and theme of the movie. The point is that the protagonist who is clearly mentally disabled and the antagonist which is a normal person who is also a jackass are only put into this situation because they are unaware of their flaws.

John Travolta made me do it. I believed in this movie because it was John Travolta. I turned it off after 10 minutes. It’s a sad movie for a brilliant man to be staring in. Bad taste.
