Moose is a rabid movie fan who's obsessed with his favorite celebrity action hero, Hunter Dunbar. When cheated out of his opportunity to meet Hunter, Moose gets help from a photographer who knows how to find celebrity homes. Excellent acting jobs from John Travolta and Devon Sawa, each delivering deeply engrossing and uncomfortable performances for opposite reasons. I would have enjoyed "The Fanatic" a lot more if the ending didn't devolve into unnecessarily harsh torture porn, leaving me feeling sick. It's obvious the film could have ended much differently and still kept its plot and message intact.

Phenomenal! This baffling vanity projects delivers big time! Maybe John Travolta's best performance since "Carrie"? Go watch it, it's incredibly entertaining and only 80 minutes long.

From rock-rapper to screenwriter. I don’t think Fred Durst should be writing movies. Terrible. What kept me watching was the nice high gloss picture, good music, and Travolta’s oddball performance. Besides that, nothing to like here.
