If it weren't operating on a standard ... feature run time, I think it would be a perfect experience. Nov 23, 2019 Full Review Joel Fisher Battle Royale With Cheese As the final act kicks in, the way the story plays out may get a little too romantic for some tastes, but for old romantics who haven't quite lost all hope it's a wonderful, slightly strange and thoughtful romantic drama. Claudio C The Fare (2018) Trapped in a Time Loop (11,634 - 21 Apr 2025 – by Claudio Carvalho) The taxi driver Harris Caron (Gino Anthony) is driving during the night through a lonely and desolated road looking for his passenger listening to the radio. A young woman named Penny (Brinna Kelly) gets in the taxi and asks him to go to the corner of River and Elm. They have a small talk and out of the blue, Penny disappears from the back seat of the car. Harris contacts the Dispatcher, who asks him to reset the meter and return to the city. Soon everything happens again, and Harris remembers Penny. When Harris resets the meter again, the event repeats and Harris increases his recollections. He realizes that he is trapped in a time loop and Penny tells him that he has picked her up at least one hundred times. After several other trips, Harris falls in love with Penny and decides to look for her. When they meet each other, she tells him not to drink the water. Soon Harris learns what happened to him. “The Fare” (2018) is a strange and theatrical movie with the story of a cab driver apparently trapped in a time loop. The plot works based on the chemistry of the lead couple. What happened to Harris is interesting and original. The story recalls the TV show “The Twilight Zone”, with a mystery solved in the end. Unfortunately, it is not possible to make comments about the story without spoiler. My vote is seven. Title (Brazil): Not Applicable My Blog: https://maniacosporfilme.wordpress.com/ Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/22/25 Full Review Todd B If you like time loop stories and are familiar with Greek mythology, this movie is for you. Nice acting with very appealing leads. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/07/25 Full Review Emilliano Jr S Can someone explain to me what did I just watched? Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/16/24 Full Review Niels v A very nice time loop movie with a good twist Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/25/24 Full Review John S the ending is both satisfying and disappointing Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/21/24 Full Review Jessie N Wow! I ain't givin' no spoilers (and I'd recommend you watch the movie first without knowing what's going on), but WOW! What a story! What a love story! If you know a bit of Greek mythology, tune in. And for as mundane and blah as the conversation may seem, it's not. Just like with "The Usual Suspects" or "Sixth Sense," this is the kind of movie that's all the better on the second round. (And if you don't know any Greek mythology, do read some movie reviews and explanations before you watch it a second time.) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews
