A brilliant Twilight Zone episode stretched to feature film length ... If it weren't operating on a standard ... feature run time, I think it would be a perfect experience. Go to Full Review

As the final act kicks in, the way the story plays out may get a little too romantic for some tastes, but for old romantics who haven't quite lost all hope it's a wonderful, slightly strange and thoughtful romantic drama. Go to Full Review

Will G @Wgerstmyer 3d Movies are worth a watch when they are tight; when they hold together in every way. Then one can suspend disbelief. Personally, The Fare also works for me because I like art that is spare and crisp; this is the sign of a team that deserves more resources with which to create their next efforts. Like many episodes of the Twilight Zone, mystery is the watchword. We are taken with the lean storyline and the chemistry of the two actors so we get engaged. Less clear is what we can make of the situation though there are the tiniest of clues sprinkled in that pique our interest more than give anything away. When solid ground does start to appear it still leaves plenty of mystery but it is especially appreciated by this reviewer that there is hope and promise for the two because they ooze humanity and could so easily be any of us. I say that because the dialog is fantastic, real, hopeless, glittering and funny all at the same time. The writer has shown she has a bright future ahead of her See more Susana C Oct 23 Not to give away the ending but that guy waited a whole year to see the woman he loves for 20min... He didn't even get laid... And now he has to wait a whole year again to see her (meanwhile she is screwing with "death"). Goodness gracious See more Mike D Sep 22 The Taxi Driver and the Time Traveller is a captivating and thought-provoking tale. The chemistry between the two leads is electric, sizzling with tension and longing that transcends the boundaries of time. See more Sam A Sep 22 I honestly didn’t expect much going into The Fare, but it completely blew me away. It feels simple at first just a cab driver and a passenger having a late-night conversation, but then it starts looping, and each ride pulls you in deeper. The way it slowly reveals what’s really going on is genius. The chemistry between Harris and Penny is the heart of the film. Their conversations feel natural, warm, and sometimes heartbreaking. You really get invested in them, which makes the twists hit even harder. I also loved how the film kept me guessing without relying on big effects or flashy scenes, it’s just smart, emotional storytelling. The ending stayed with me long after the credits rolled. It’s one of those movies that makes you think about love, fate, and memory in a way you don’t see often. Definitely an underrated gem. See more M G May 22 Was a slow burn movie, with a nice twist. A soft bitter sweet ending, so if you want a movie with a gentle plot twist as to what is really going on, along with a bit of a sappy ending then this is for you. The acting was done well, only a cast really of 3 (excluding the extras). I really enjoyed it, found it on a reddit forum looking for movies with a good twist to them and it didnt dissapoint. I had the water eyes at the end but love a good sappy movie so that was right up my alley. Not a must but a bit of greek mythology went a long way to knowing a little more about the underlying twist - most of mine came from having played 'Haydes' the game. Worth a watch, not something I will rewatch super fast, but every few years wouldnt say no to grabing the popcorn for.
