Synopsis
In this documentary about the 1759 battle over Quebec fought between the English and the French, war reenactments and interviews with the descendants of important military figures from the conflict are used to explore this turning point in the history of Canada. The film crew talks with Canadian historians, then jets off to France to speak to the descendant of an 18th-century French general. Back in Quebec, a young man condemns his British ancestor, who led an ambush on enemy troops.
