…The Final Run mines out a tale that offers more depth and soul than just the usual cops and robbers movie stuff….avoids the melodrama we might expect from such a story, and raises some thoughtful questions about how the world changes around us… Go to Full Review

Richard B @Komard 4d The Final Run is a competent, grounded drama that ultimately feels smaller than its cast suggests. While the story is coherent and the characters are well-defined, the film leans far more into personal and financial pressure than action or momentum. The setup is clear and effective, and the performances carry the material well. However, the pacing and tone skew closer to a made-for-TV drama than a true action thriller. For a film featuring this lineup, the lack of urgency and physical stakes is noticeable. That said, it is still a good movie, just not the one it appears to promise. It avoids the excessive slowness of other recent films and tells a complete, understandable story, but it never fully commits to speed or spectacle. Solid, watchable, and restrained; but ultimately underpowered. See more Chris S @Medicnco17 5d This is a good movie with a strong plot, excellent actors, and compelling characters. Although it lacks action and the depiction of the DEA is somewhat exaggerated, it remains an overall solid film. Maddi Henderson delivers a powerful performance in a key role. However, Katie Amess's performance is less convincing, as she comes across as dry. See more Miles B Sep 1 Absolutely nothing happened in this movie at all. No tension at all and wouldn’t recommend to anyone ever. See more Mary M Aug 21 The Final Run completely surprised me. It’s gripping from start to finish, with moments that are both intense and emotional. Indie films like this prove you don’t need a blockbuster budget to tell a powerful story. See more Cassie L Aug 21 The Final Run is one of those rare indie films that sticks with you long after the credits roll. It’s beautifully shot, with a pace that keeps you on edge while still giving space for real emotion. What impressed me most is how personal it feels — you can tell every scene was crafted with intention and heart. The story captures both the thrill of the chase and the quiet moments of humanity in between. It’s the kind of film that reminds you why independent cinema matters: raw storytelling, memorable characters, and a vision that isn’t diluted. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves films that take risks and leave an impact. See more Elizabeth M Aug 20 This film surprised me with it's tender moments! Jeff Fahey is phenomenal and a scene-stealer with his talent. Impressed with the acting of the young female lead, Maddie Henderson. All in all, I thought the plot & characters were engaging, and while some of the 'action' scenes could've used more pacing, it was refreshing to watch a modern film that doesn't rely on CGI to further the film's visual storytelling capabilities. Bravo. See more Read all reviews
