Worlds collide in "The Flash" when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian... albeit not the one he's looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry's only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?

The Flash is funny, fittingly fast-paced, and overall ranks as one of the best DC movies in recent years.

The Flash has enough heart, humor, and action -- not to mention fun cameos -- to make up for any drawbacks.

The film’s convoluted parallel plot adds almost nothing to the impact of the storytelling, other than to make it feel muddled. Go to Full Review

For a film about a very fast man, the narrative is slow at times. The tacky CGI and video game artistry make the experience less immersive too. Go to Full Review

For 2/3 of The Flash -- and it's too long -- it's kind of fun... in the last sections it becomes slightly video game-ish. Go to Full Review

Its biggest strengths are treated as a relative afterthought, stuck in a time when movies like this could get away with the bare minimum. Go to Full Review

This [superhero] renaissance began with The Flash; a film that more or less hit a sacrificial bunt so as to indict the then-conundrum of Hollywood’s superhero problem. Go to Full Review

The Flash is a film that, while often funny and emotionally effective, suffers from an excess of characters and alarmingly poor CGI. It runs, yes, but not always in the right direction. [Full Review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Joseph May 5 What a joke of a movie. I’m embarrassed that I went to see it. I’m embarrassed for anyone that want to see it. An absolute embarrassment of a movie and I’m so happy to see this era in the DCU come to an end See more Matthew S May 3 I mean…seriously. This movie should have halted production and stopped completely. It was uncomfortable watching Ezra Miller as a hero, particularly given what he was accused of. The scene where babies are falling from the sky.,..did not set a great tone. Michael Keaton was amazing but he’s good no matter what he is in. Sasha Calle as Supergirl was a great choice, but given how the movie ends with that character, felt like a waste. The scene where they break her out of containment was the only part of the movie I enjoyed. Ugh! Gut punch for people who love the genre. See more cruz May 2 The ending was amazing See more Dean H Mar 4 I have a love of Flash and Batman, so this was like chocolate and peanut butter for me. See more Buddha Feb 14 wish we could had gotten the original film but brilliant performance of Michaels Version of Batman See more Alex Dec 24 Good movie especially from the dc movies this was a good one See more Read all reviews
