Worlds collide in "The Flash" when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian... albeit not the one he's looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry's only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?

The Flash has enough heart, humor, and action -- not to mention fun cameos -- to make up for any drawbacks.

Christina Newland iNews.co.uk The film’s convoluted parallel plot adds almost nothing to the impact of the storytelling, other than to make it feel muddled. Rated: 3/5 Sep 18, 2024 Full Review Udita Jhunjhunwala Livemint For a film about a very fast man, the narrative is slow at times. The tacky CGI and video game artistry make the experience less immersive too. Jun 24, 2024 Full Review Mark Kermode Kermode and Mayo's Take (YouTube) For 2/3 of The Flash -- and it's too long -- it's kind of fun... in the last sections it becomes slightly video game-ish. Jan 9, 2024 Full Review Sarah Vincent Sarah G Vincent Views Michael Keaton is the main reason to see “The Flash” (2023), the 13th film in the DC Extended Universe. Feel free to arrive at the theater under one hour late to see a decent Batman sequel otherwise you will be peeking at your watch May 25, 2024 Full Review Vinamra Mathur Firstpost Despite having fun throughout, The Flashisn't flawless, especially in its final act. But Miller as the eponymous superhero is clearly having fun, and so are the other key characters that wouldn't think twice. Rated: 3/5 Nov 28, 2023 Full Review Derek Sante KVCW (Las Vegas) Simply put, this movie is way fun and worth a watch in the theaters, put it on your list of to-do's this weekend. Not a fan of the actor but still a good DC flick. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/19/24 Full Review Jordan F A must see especially if you watched the TV show! A very fun take on “the flash” with great acting, flashy theatrics and good humor. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/12/24 Full Review T Jr Good Movie but had no real direction. Best part was Michael Keatons appearance as Batman. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/12/24 Full Review Mervin J Enjoyable as one of the better DC releases as of late. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/08/24 Full Review Elizabeth I usually don't watch DC movies/shows, but I gave this a try, and it did NOT disappoint me. I had to watch the TV series.
