Audience Member Tense ripoff of "Cape Fear" with some "Diabolique" thrown in for good measure. William Watson is sweaty and sleazy as Teddy Jakes, a convict who terrorizes Lloyd Bridges's family within the confines of the law. The script and direction are taut, but the dialogue includes a number of jawdroppers such as "I'm sorry. But it's just not illegal to threaten someone. Haven't you ever heard of 'free speech'?" It's one of the better Made-for-TV suspensers, though. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member so so made 4 TV movie Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
