Audience Member Amos Poe's "No Wave" film has no budget and no plot. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review eric b Sitting through this no-budget No Wave film is an endurance test, especially if you were only lured by the false promise of a co-starring Debbie Harry role (she has one quick scene where she smokes in a street alley and croons a bit in foreign languages). The rest mostly involves a hair-bleached, white-suited visitor (Eric Mitchell) who wanders around the strange city acting puzzled and distracted. He sees punks here and there and tries to escape some bad guys. Director Amos Poe has a career heavily focused on the underground New York scene, spanning other films such as "Blank Generation" and "Alphabet City." Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member an interesting curio of the NY club scene in the late seventies yes that would b discos i remeber them fondly.
