Critics Consensus

Despite The Rock's abundant charisma, The Game Plan is just another run-of-the-mill Disney comedy.

There are moments where "The Game Plan" works, mostly involving Johnson, but for the most part, this is a forgettable film that won't even matter come October. Go to Full Review

Jennifer G @Jennifer709 4d One of the best movies I've seen. It made me laugh . It is a great comedy for the whole family to watch. I definitely would recommend this to everyone. See more Sharom R Jul 15 I liked The Game Plan because it was funny and emotional. It’s about a famous football player who finds out he has a daughter he didn’t know about. At first, he doesn’t know how to be a dad, but little by little they connect. The movie shows how love can change people. It’s fun to watch and also has a nice message about family. I cried and laughed with this film, I saw it twice, but both times were really very moving, it was moving to tears. I highly recommend everyone to see this film.
