Renuka Vyavahare The Times of India While the visuals and special effects lack finesse, the film compensates for it with its riveting story. The second half keeps you on the edge of your seat as the submarines go head-to-head. Rated: 3/5 Apr 11, 2018 Full Review Sangeetha Devi Dundoo The Hindu Ghazi stays true to its genre, not giving in to mainstream commercial elements. That itself is commendable, considering we get very few of that kind in Telugu cinema. Nov 14, 2017 Full Review Suman Sharma Filmfare This taut thriller has a no nonsense approach. There are no songs, masala twists and over the top action. This is a good clean thriller that makes good with history and the naval setting. Rated: 3/5 Oct 30, 2017 Full Review Shilpa Jamkhandikar Reuters The Ghazi Attack is stylishly shot and employs technology on screen better than many other Bollywood films, but its story-telling is reminiscent of patriotic films from the 60s and 70s. Jun 6, 2017 Full Review Nandini Ramnath Scroll.in The Ghazi Attack is billed as the first Indian movie to be set on a submarine. It is also the first Indian movie to mine nationalism at the very depths of the ocean. Feb 27, 2017 Full Review Gautaman Bhaskaran Hindustan Times Really, an engaging piece of cinema. Jyoti Ranjan M Excellent movie with excitement . The movie shows the dedication and commitment of Indian soldiers. The movie tried to focus on accuracy of concepts of Indian Navy & technical skills. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/24 Full Review Roddy B Best submarine movie we have ever seen.. with out the unnecessary profanity ect..just a outstanding job of movie making... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Tries to get the technicalities of a submarine battle right. Half a star for the effort. The rest is just usual Bollywood silliness. Thank heavens they left out the mandatory romantic track. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Way out of league of dancing and singing bollywood . Such a great movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Disappointing....passed the time....predictable plot...film characterized by "overacting"...as though the actors were trying their best to sell a weak script. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review ryan f Although there are comparisons to other submarine movies, this was a great movie with that did a good job portraying a true story.
