Michael V Conventional first half, second half is tremendous with great cast shining. Even the (brief) debut of the Kravitzes. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/20/23 Full Review Nizar N Just what you'd expect from a comedy with Doris Day in it. The first half may be a bit slow, but it leads to a funny turn of events and comedic situations. The ending was a bit rushed, but that doesn't take away from the splendor of The Glass Bottom Boat. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Cornball to the max. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Silly but lovely romantic comedy. A lot of nostalgia value of a much simpler time when men were men and women loved it. It could not be made today due to sexual harassment sensitivities. Catalina shines in this sweet comedy and the cast appear to have a blast Making it! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review steve d The story is way too thin to care about it. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a wonderfully entertaining and inventive comedy, albeit a very silly one. It's perhaps a little slow to get going, with a few scenes that are slightly longer than necessary, but on the whole it is great fun, with a very strong cast confidently directed. You'll probably enjoy it more if you have at least a nodding familiarity with 1960s TV. This time around I particularly enjoyed George Tobias and Alice Pearce as Doris Day's neighbours - virtually the same roles as they played in the first two seasons of Bewitched. I'm baffled by the low rating many of the critics have given this film, which is one of my favourite Doris Day comedies. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
