      Critics Consensus

The God Committee's strong cast and compelling ethical dilemma are ill served by a convoluted story with a disappointing tendency toward melodrama.

Alegna it really makes you think. it's an interesting story. beautifully acted. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/08/21 Full Review patrick f This movie was okay. The story is intriguing, doctors making the life or death decision as to who gets a heart transplant. The acting was good. Kelsey Grammer and Julia Stiles did a nice job. The film lost its way a little in the execution. Threads were introduced, but not resolved. But all in all it was a decent movie with good acting. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Compelling and rewatchable. Excellent performances all around. Explores interesting medical dilemmas. It's cynical at times but realistic. A really good film for anyone interested in medical dramas. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Karen H There probably are not a lot of folks that will tune in to a movie about organ transplants so, a block buster it is not. None the less, this is a very real problem in healthcare. Far more need out there than availability. I found the film believable in the delivery. Good acting from the entire cast. Go sign up to be a organ donor and do something truly benefiting others in need and just maybe, keep big money out of the picture and save a pig. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/13/22 Full Review Audience Member A good storyline, featuring tense moments and an emotional ride, this is is a good one time watch. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Enjoyed this more than I thought i would. Very good acting, and I learned a lot about the organ world.
