Leslie Felperin Variety Eco all-creatures-are-sacred message is duly preached, but without a heavy hand, and there's a refreshingly surreal Hayao Miyazaki-quality about the pic's more whimsical flights of fancy. Jun 24, 2020 Full Review Hank Sartin Time Out Kids with short attention spans, trained on the rapid-fire pacing of American animated films, may find the tempo of this Danish feature plodding-but even the most restless could get drawn in by the film's gentle spell. Jun 24, 2020 Full Review Hugo Ozman ScreenAnarchy An animated film that younger audiences will no doubt fall in love with. Jun 24, 2020 Full Review Renee Schonfeld Common Sense Media Captivating, moving tale with scares; best for older kids. Rated: 4/5 Jun 17, 2014 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Definitely a movie that all parents should have in their film repertoire. It's a wonderful story that teaches a lesson in friendship and standing up for one's self and others. In life, friendship comes in all shapes and sizes and occasionally when we least expect it. We learn much about ourselves and the world around us. Not the least of which is "that our inner strength is often larger than we could have ever imagined"!
