      mich h I saw this when I was young about 15 16 of course because of Julie Sommars had a young guy crush on that girl. As I watched I became engrossed in the story I'm looking to watch it again but chances are it's not on dvd now and easy to find it will never be the memory fades of a well acted melodrama or drama. It made am impression on me that did something positive to me I still do not know exactly what why I'm trying to find a video or such. A Julie fan in the Governor and JJ I think and had never seen her in a serous role before nor Lorne Green in anything other than Bonanza. I think it may have been my first realization of what the art of acting in a story can do. Based on John Steinbeck what ya know so no wonder. Well produced seriously and very well portrayed by cast. If you find it watch it a fine work. Then drop me a line I'd love to see this agin now I am older and have a better idea of what it was and hopefully still is. You will like this.
