Here we have a wonderful idea for a film with numerous strong scenes, well put together, with the strengths of sympathy and nuance. Unfortunately, for me, it all led to a muddled and dispassionate anticlimactic conclusion unworthy of the film leading to it. Note also that the film is a drama, not a comedy.

Im not sure why people dislike this? maybe because of their political belief ? Over all this obviously a low budget and independent film. I was afraid its gunna be so bad I cant watch it. But the acting of everyone (especially Joey Ally) was exceptionally good. This piece is very inspiring. Not in a big kind of inspiration but rather a small one that give your heart some fluster and want to change the world for a better place. This is the journey of a woman who want to change things for good and obstacles she faced throughout her the journey.

So funny, so moving. So mature. So refreshing to see someone from Hollywood treat the rest of the country like they're not idiots. Such important themes, but never heavy handed. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

This movie manages to do correctly what a film like Don't Look Up did so badly, which is to have a political point of view and believe in it while knowing that not everyone on your side of the camp is great while not everyone on the other side is evil.
