The rotting corpses, projectile insect vomit, and creepy geezers in black arrive pretty much on cue, as does the great Cicely Tyson as the obligatory old blind woman who "sees" more than most people with two good eyes.

Watch this and you'll wonder why Hollywood persists with haunted house horrors when they've literally been done to death. Perhaps setting one in a rip-off bank would give us some much needed change.

Katee Sackhoff and Chad Michael Murry are both really good in this movie in my personal opinion. I think they are really talented. I really enjoy this movie a lot personally. My only criticism is this...if I hadn't of seen the first movie ( A Haunting in Connecticut) I would not know based on this one that these two are really supposed to be connected. In my opinion there isn't a lot that really ties these two together like you would expect from a part 2 of a movie at all. But that is the only negative thing I have to say at all about this movie. If you haven’t seen it you should really watch it. If I was able I'd give it two thumbs up for sure
