Audience Member Fascinating WW II POW movie which takes us into the mind-sets of both captors and captives and how a strangely respectful relationship can develop under those circumstances. Without wanting to give away the turning point of the story, the Aussie soldiers singing "Waltzing Matilda" on their last night together is an emotional high-point that was beautifully and unsentimentally filmed.
