Weak characters, a thin plot, and a few funny moments lead to a bland but inoffensive film. As far as action comedies go, we've seen far better, and we've seen far worse. "The Hitman's Bodyguard" finds itself somewhere in the unremarkable middle.

This has become one of my favorite movies, and I watch it over and over again. It's low-brow, it's crass, it's violent, and it is gosh darn funny from beginning to end. Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson are a perfect match, and Salma Hayek is amazingly funny.

I found it humorous overall, one of those buddy films where the 2 characters end up in a love/hate relationship. Action scenes & story were fine enough for a casual watch, nothing special about this movie, but not a bad watch.

It highly benefits from Ryan and Sam Jackson's chemistry with each other. Ryan is basically forced to watch Jackson act like him and the results are very funny. Other than that, it relies too heavily on action movie cliches and predictability.

A funny enough action-packed movie with discrepancies and stupid decisions by the character's, but ultimately leads to hilarious situations as promised by the genre. With odd happenings, and cool scenes, it makes for an entertaining movie with a fun cast with familiars like Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman, Ryan Reynolds, and Salma Hayek.
