bryan b Very slow paced not much of a thriller version of living with you or multiplicity. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Really good. Really really falls apart. Hated the ending. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/01/21 Full Review Audience Member This one was good. Interesting and entertaining with a good storyline. The only critique I would give is the ending but def worth the watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/23/21 Full Review Audience Member Antifeminist, frustratingly slow, badly written, predictable. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member 3 out of 5 stars. The Honeymoon Phase is a fair science fiction thriller film. About a newly wed couple going into an experiment trial. As the company observes how the couple are reacting towards each other for a month. They are given a house. Food. Furniture and supplies. Until the wife starts questioning if her husband is lying to her. Interesting concept and plot. Could have been so much more. The script does fall apart by the time it reaches its third act. The writer feels like they ran out of ideas on where to go. When the twist is revealed which is surprising. But it falls so quick that it ruined the whole movie. Especially the ending. The cast did decent with there performances. The direction was okay. The script and ending kind of wasted a good idea to having an uninspired shocking ending. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/31/20 Full Review Audience Member The director of this movie really knows how to keep you on your toes. The actors are extremely well versed in their roles. The subject matter is not the same old horror movie genre glorified. This movie is a must see The originality of this movie and the pace makes the movie quite a pleasure to watch Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Richard Whittaker Austin Chronicle There are questions of trust, identity, spousal abuse, deception, differing expectations, and emotional incompleteness, all contained within a narrative that creates a terrifying-- and all too recognizable -- world. Aug 20, 2020 Full Review Alix Turner Ready Steady Cut Couples are studied to understand why couples change. Does the central couple change, or did they simply not know each other as well as they thought? Intriguing film, but doesn't quite answer its own question, and nor is it clear about its key theme. Rated: 3/5 Feb 12, 2021 Full Review Noah Schwartz Film Threat The Honeymoon Phase never rose above being a bargain bin Black Mirror. Rated: 5/10 Dec 21, 2020 Full Review Abbie Bernstein Assignment X Director/writer Phillip G. Carroll Jr. builds tension fluidly. Rated: B Dec 4, 2020 Full Review Charles Koplinski Reel Talk with Chuck and Pam As the premise is quite intriguing, I could forgive it, to some extent, its pacing, but the final act pulls the plug on credibility with an ending that raises more questions than the plot deserves. Rated: 2.0/4.0 Nov 27, 2020 Full Review Scott Weinberg Thrillist two great performances, a smart sci-fi script, and a few dark twists you might not see coming.
