Danielle Spencer Los Angeles Free Press The Human Tornado has plenty of violence and sex. A plot would be nice but, what the hell, you can't have everything. Oct 30, 2019 Full Review Hunter Lanier Film Threat The Human Tornado is basically a variety show. Spliced into the plot are stand-up routines, belly dancers, fire swallowers and musicians. This format fits the Dolemite character perfectly, as it keeps the film within the appropriate context. Rated: 7/10 Sep 20, 2018 Full Review Cole Smithey ColeSmithey.com Rudy Ray Moore's signature style of guerilla blaxploitation filmmaking is as defiant, ribald, and outrageously funny as anything in the genre. Audience Member Probably the best of Rudy Ray Moore films, this is a good mix of seriousness and comedy. Definitely a great improvement over the first Dolemite Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member I love the original Dolemite for sure, but the Human Tornado is better. It's funnier and the campy action moves the film at a fun pace. Don't mind the poor acting, low budget, and sloppy fight choreography, this movie is entertaining from start to finish! If you saw Dolemite is my name, a lot of the scene recreations were from The Human Tornado. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member A lot more hilarious and outrageous than its predecessor. The kung-fu scenes are amped up, and are entertaining as hell. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Even more outrageous and technically flawed than the original, and just as memorable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member 70's exploitation at its best with funny dialogue and corny fight scenes. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews
