Starts off stronger than it finishes. It's based more on one period in time with miniscule flashbacks. Love the idea, but a poor execution

More of an overview than a really in depth look, this is for either fans looking to justify their fandom or for new people. It should have delved more into the dark side of the game, gone after other broken down fighters, talked about the drugs and concussions more than just in passing, instead it wanted to celebrate. The dark side was there, but the movie would have benefited from more of it. IMO

Didn't think I would like a movie about MMA (don't really watch it) but caught an early screening with a friend and it was very entertaining! Great personality behind the characters featured and some truly heartbreaking realizations about the after effects of such a violent sport. Def. worth checking out if it's playing in your area.
