Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com The Hyperions isn't actually a perfect motion picture, however, that imperfection may very well make it a more effective motion picture. Rated: 3.5/4.0 Mar 19, 2022 Full Review Alan Ng Film Threat In the end, The Hyperions is good, not great…worse, with the potential to be great. James R Cary Elwes was brilliant. Lots of experimenting with filming techniques that didn’t always make sense but overall a very heartfelt movie whose family dynamics had me a little more emotional than anticipated by the end. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/04/24 Full Review Lisa J Minus 10 rotten tomatoes. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/15/24 Full Review The Belfast Viking M So there is 5 badges in a case on display a boy who really does nothing in the film couldn't be bothered to remember name has one and a lady is using one. So that makes 7. But they only ever keep showing 5 badges. ? And if you can't work out who the bad guy is within a second of seeing him not being the bad guy then you be in for a surprise NOT. Anyway I really don't hope they make number 2. As I couldn't really care about anyone in it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/06/24 Full Review Alex G The Umbrella Academy, in film form, with a budget based on what money could be found down the back of a sofa. Enjoyable, in a low stakes, probably wouldn’t regret it if you wandered off for twenty minutes in the middle sort of way. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/17/24 Full Review Martin K I have to say I was going into this movie expecting something totally different, and in the end what I got was an awesome story of growing up and forgiveness. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/09/24 Full Review First L The style is fresh and different, but many of the tropes have been repeated by more recent shows (The Boys, Umbrella Academy) so it ends up feeling like a retread despite coming first.
