Well fellers and fellets it comes with a heavy heart that I announce I have unfortunately just watched the movie "the ice road" by Liam neelsun or whatever his last name is and I have now waisted one hour and forty eight minutes of my life that I can never get back it honestly was one of the worst experiences of my life I honestly would rather weld without my hood for one hour and forty eight minutes with 5/32 jet rod at 200 amps and deal with the flash burn afterwards then have to watch this movie again I would say -500,000,000 out of 5 stars

Decent film for what it is. Liam Neeson and Lawrence Fishburn are their usual one-dimensional selves. However, it isn't clear why the Tantoo character was written as a bigoted indigenous Archie Bunker-style character. The rest of the cast did a nice job, though the writing admittedly could have been better. OK to watch once, though not recommended.

The Ice Road all the right variables for an interesting film, layered with tension and suspense which is only aided by the casting...Ultimately though, the film’s dialogue is very poor, the performances aren’t great...It’s safe to skip this one.
