The ratio of exposition-heavy dialogue to things-a-real-person-would-say lines is roughly 20 to 1. Any bit of visual wit that manages to slip through feels accidental.

The action itself is, technically speaking, good. But the stakes of the action are contrived, with cartoonish insurance agency antagonists who may as well have stepped out of a children’s movie like Sonic the Hedgehog or Detective Pikachu.

The Ice Road all the right variables for an interesting film, layered with tension and suspense which is only aided by the casting...Ultimately though, the film’s dialogue is very poor, the performances aren’t great...It’s safe to skip this one.

The movie is so bad, if they want to represent other countries, can they at least do some research on another country culture, language or talented actors , the movie is heavily representing Indian language and some Nepali language is just bull sh"t and why they couldn’t find a Nepali actors why a Tibetan actor gets a role to be Nepali tour guide, just cause she Preety like they couldn’t find any pretty Nepali actor so they had to pick a Tibetan

Fiquei surpresa com a avaliação pra menos. O filme pra mim está dentro do aceitável, mas jamais colocaria no nível de ruim como julgaram até aqui. Vale a pena ver a atuação do Liam Neelson adorável. Talvez uma melhor direção teria elevado esta produção.

I too am surprised by the low popcorn rating on this flick. This movie is full of suspense and action, so much so that I couldn't stop watching - even to pause to get the popcorn! The emotion between the brothers was also very touching. I highly recommend!
