Critics Consensus

The Incredible Hulk may not be quite the smashing success that fans of Marvel's raging behemoth might hope for, but it offers more than enough big green action to make up for its occasionally puny narrative.

The climax is a bit of a yawn, but most of what precedes it is vigorous and sharp. Go to Full Review

Norton makes for a wiry, curious Bruce Banner. But you can tell from the film's tedium-inducing smackdowns that a different philosophy prevailed: the artificial Zen of video-game playing. Go to Full Review

EleckVick 7. @Vick775 Nov 11 The Incredible Hulk is probably the best depiction of hulk alone out of all of the hulks we have received in the MCU. However the plot is very weak character development. Everything in the movie is held by the audience having some understanding of who the hulk is what his usual story is. But the story poorly introduces the characters builds their connection. But it is fair to say that hulk is pure aura.
