This film, somewhat clumsy yet full of illuminating interviews, seems mostly like an exercise in building national pride, but it holds lessons for anyone trying to resist an overwhelming force. Go to Full Review

Once it gets going, The Invisible Front slaps us in the face with just how savagely the Soviets treated Lithuanians they believed to be part of the resistance Go to Full Review

01/15/2015 I TOTALLY want to see this film. I am a Lithuanian-American whose parents had to flee Soviet occupied Lithuania to escape certain forced deportation to Siberia. This movie is the story of the Lithuanian Forest Brothers who fought, as insurgents, the Russian occupation of their native Lithuania. They were courageously brave patriots passionately fighting their homeland's independence. This film is their TRUE story too long kept from the eyes of Westerners some even sympathetic to the Communist (or now pro-Putinist) cause NOT knowing the murderers they were/are actually supporting.
