Liam D While the concept is too big for it's own good it has a great cast, surprisingly good direction by Jonathan Liebesman (The Shannara Chronicles, Genesis and Catastrophe) and score by Brian Tyler (Hawaii Five-0, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/17/21 Full Review William T Great Film Adaptation based on Project MKUltra (or MK-Ultra), also called the CIA mind control program, is the code name given to a program of experiments on human subjects that were designed and undertaken by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, some of which were illegal.Experiments on humans were intended to identify and develop drugs and procedures to be used in interrogations in order to weaken the individual and force confessions through mind control. The project was organized through the Office of Scientific Intelligence of the CIA and coordinated with the United States Army Biological Warfare Laboratories. Other code names for drug-related experiments were Project Bluebird and Project Artichoke. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/21 Full Review Audience Member Absurd. Is the kind of movie that creates a good premise, for the posters and the trailer, and then flops. What a waste of time. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member This was a wild hair TiVo recording based on a few names involved, and I must say that while it ended up being somewhat interesting (a group of volunteers for a research study find themselves in a MKUltra-style indoctrination) as the various characters are given increasingly impossible choices to make in the room with one another. Give that mother a cable watch! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Seemed quite interesting to start with but a bit complex for me to understand and I felt a bit bored with it at times. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member I really wanted to like this movie and i bet i would have if for only one thing. The sound quality of this movie was horrible. Was it done by an amateur? The soft talking and whispering made it almost impossible to figure out what was going on. It was alot of echoing. I was also watching it on a blueray player. So i tried to turn on subtitles. No such luck. Turns out there is no subtitles for this movie. All around my wife and i were so disappointed in this movie. Would not recommend it at all. What a waste of time. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/10/16 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
