See more 03/12/2016 Kristen Bell is very good. good story See more 06/29/2014 This is a surprisingly good TV movie, lit up by a committed performance from Kristen Bell as a daughter re-united stormily with her absent father. Bell excels at conveying emotion subtly but potently, making her character, Alison, seem absolutely real. The plot is a pretty saccharine one, but I believed Bell and Tim Matheson's father-daughter relationship (shades of Veronica and Keith Mars at times) and enjoyed the simple story with its pretty lake-town locations.
