The plot was not clear, about the rise of Nazis in Hungary and Germany, but the actors were superb, and made the movie compelling. The characters were well cast, and Tim Hughes was captivating. I enjoyed the movie, with all the twists and turns of a "who done it." The end was happy, too, which was a relief. Enjoy.

A piss poor adaptation of the classic Christie novel. It deviates badly from the novel and doesn't pull it off well. Compared to Hitchcock's brilliant film eight decades earlier which was made on a shoestring budget the creators of this dreary adaptation should hang their heads in shame.

This BBC 2013 film, is not based on the 1938 Alfred Hitchcock classis of the same name, but on the 1936 novel "The Wheel Spins," by Ethel Lina White. Hitchcock's film was based on the same novel. This version is very nice, and holds its own when viewed as a whole, though the first half of Hitchcock's film was truly magical.
