Dvc F The best way to describe this garbage is 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂no need to say anything else Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/07/24 Full Review Kim S This stuck with me in a way few movies have. As a writer I am admittedly biased towards the writer here. Watching Navarro chasing down a legend in pursuit of story material hit me right in the heart. How many rabbit holes have I gone down late at night in the farthest corners of my library card? How far would I really go for a story were I in his place? Would I dare to come face to face with the killer of local lore and legend? Would I risk becoming part of the legend myself? Is the truth worth the terrible knowing? Or should we pay heed to the harbinger who lives to warn us against looking too close? Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 08/30/24 Full Review Audience Member Well told vampire tale. Venezuelan settings and city-scape long shots are welcome variety. The use of flashbacks helps to keep the story moving but leads to a little confusion since different actors are used for the same parts between the 1970's, an earlier period and modern day. Much of the dialog comes across as too expository. And for a long time we are unsure about how many vampires there really are, or were. But the end is satisfying if somewhat somber. A couple of gruesome scenes to keep you awake but there are no jump scares or exciting chases to get your horror adrenaline going. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
