A notable improvement compared to the last few Land before time sequels (which isn't saying much since the bar has been set so low) as far as animation and story goes. Little foots father is trapped near an active volcano and its up to the trio to rescue him. Every LBT film has a different lesson this one is about having courage and being Brave. sharpteeth are one of the main highlights of the franchise and this movie is filled with different kinds such as some with feathers also the fan favorite Dinosaur carnotaurus finally gets the spotlight in this series most voice actors have been recast since the originals outgrew their roles some are more noticeable than others this feels like it should be the final land before time movie and would be a good way to wrap up the series but knowing universal its only a matter of time until they make another one

Okay so full disclosure, I learnt after watching this movie that it is actually a follow-on to the Land Before Time TV series which I never watched, so there is some information, including an entire new character, which is involved in Journey of the Brave that I just straight up didn't get, and it's not completely out of the question that negatively impacted my enjoyment of the film. But I can't imagine any TV-prequel could have made me love this.
