Audience Member An absolute mess and disaster, even by low-rent Horror standards. The making of feature on the DVD is immensely more enjoyable than the film itself. I've never seen so much poorly done day-for-night photography. Effects are weak, plot is lame, and acting is horrid. SKIP. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member There are far to many flaws and poor performances to ever sustain its mediocre storytelling. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Amateurish Italian Texas Chainsaw Massacre is largely unwatchable, or rather, unSEEable - the picture is so dark during the nighttime outdoor scenes, which is half the movie, that you don't know what's going on! Even when you do, there's not much you haven't seen done much better before to hold interest. One star for their one moment of inspiration: a man & woman are rescued from a gang of young thugs & rapists, only to find that their rescuers are even more heinous! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Plenty of gore and shock factor, but the story is not new. It kind of slow and you sort of expect what's going to happen. so nothing really jumps to make this a standout gore movie. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member I'm only giving this movie an extra half-star because the ending was good and sorta happy. This movie starts out slow but builds up a little bit. There's some really gory scenes, so squeamish people might wanna skip this. But the dub in voices sucked, and probably would've been much better if they had subtitles like most foreign films do. And this movie seemed really low-budgeted, and had great potential, but it would've been a lot better if there was a higher budget. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member it was good. It reminded me to The Last House on the Left. The killing scenes are soo bloddy. It was a good movie Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews
